​Arthell L. Haggerty, 98 of Midland, formerly of Coleman, died Sunday January 22, 2023 at Colonial Villa Midland, with her family by her side.  She was born November 15, 1924 in Warren Township the daughter of the late Albert & Verda (Haines) Arnold. 
 
Arthell L. Arnold married Kenneth B. Haggerty June 12, 1948.  She taught kindergarten at the Coleman Elementary School, retiring in 1982 after 27 ½ years of service.  Arthell enjoyed reading, quilting, rug making and traveling through the United States with Ken. 
 
Survivors include her husband Ken, daughters, Melodye Conaway of Sanford, Sharla & Palmiro Paolucci of Midland, grandchildren Sabrina & Jason Lundin, Marisa & Jason Osterberg, great-grandchildren, Mya Lundin and Cameron Osterberg, many nieces and nephews.  Arthell was preceded in death by her son-in-law Paul Conaway, brother Clarence Arnold, sisters: Verna Ann Arnold, Kathryn Sayers, Lenora Waite, Helen Adams, Ruth Bills and Pauline Roman. 
 
Funeral and committal services will be held 11:00 am Friday January 27, 2023 at the Coleman Wesleyan Church, with Rev. Scott Hayes and Rev. Martin Roman officiating.  Burial will take place in the Warren Township Cemetery, Coleman.  Friends may call at the O’Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday from 2-6 pm and at the church on Friday, starting at 10 am until the time of services.  Memorials are suggested to the Coleman Area Library.
