​Charles A. Vogel, Sr. 68, of Coleman, died at home Sunday April 9, 2023 with his family by his side.  He was born September 11, 1954 in Mt. Pleasant the son of the late Edward & Betty (Dart) Vogel. 
 
Chuck retired from Federal Broach in Harrison in 2020 after 35 years of service.  He was a dedicated runner and enjoyed playing golf.  His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
 
Survivors include his sons Charles A. Vogel, II of St. Clair, Adam & Kacie Vogel of Saginaw, 4 grandchildren: Ryleigh Vogel, Elaina McCann, Cole David Filo, Alicia Alm, brothers: Paul & Erma Vogel of Coleman, Pat & Robin Vogel of Alaska, Tim Vogel of Alaska, sister Roxanne & Richard Rowley of Manistee, 2 special ladies, Paula Mertens, Victoria Kitchen and her family: Kristopher Kitchen, Adisynn Kitchen, Kauri Kitchen, Winston Ramirez, Riley Ramirez, several nieces and nephews.  Chuck was also preceded in death by his brother Mike Vogel.
 
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday April 13, 2023 at the O’Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc., with Pastor Kris Remington officiating.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and on Thursday starting at 10 am until the time of services.  Memorials are suggested to the Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund.
