LaDonna J. Florence, 92, of Coleman died peacefully at home Tuesday June 18, 2024, with her family by her side. She was born December 24, 1931 in Isabella County, the daughter of the late Albert & Blanche (Dale) Fike. LaDonna J. Fike married Murry Florence Jr. July 26, 1948 in Angola, Indiana. He preceded her in death November 21, 2004.
She enjoyed horses, dogs and provided boot camp for the local children.
Survivors include her children: Murry Dale & Terri Florence of Coleman, Mary & Loren Simon of Coleman, Lynn & Terry DeJongh of Vanderbilt, Rhonda & James Miller of Coleman, Marsha & Kevin Davis of Gladwin, Denise & Steve Sincic of Traverse City, 18 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, brothers, Quinter & ValDora Fike of Colorado, James & Rene Fike of Morrice, sister Julaine Allen of Coleman, brother-in-law Warren Phillips of Utah, many nieces and nephews. LaDonna was also preceded in death by brothers, Donald, Albert, sisters: Patricia Allen, Bonnie Rease and Barbara Phillips
Funeral and committal services will be held 11:00 am Monday June 24, 2024 at the Coleman Wesleyan Church with Pastor Jack Tigner officiating. Burial will take place in the Warren Township Cemetery, Coleman. Friends may call at the O’Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday from 2-6 pm and at the church on Monday from 10 am until the time of services. Memorials are suggested to the Coleman Athletic Boosters or My Michigan Hospice.
