Lawrence A. “Larry” Govitz, I, 61 of Coleman, died Saturday October 21, 2023 at MyMichigan Medical Center, Midland. He was born January 13, 1962 in Midland County, the son of the late Lawrence & Margaret (Cole) Govitz.
Larry married Susan C. Iafrate June 11, 1983 in Coleman.
Survivors include his wife Susan of Coleman, sons: Larry Govitz, II of Coleman, Timothy & Candace Govitz of Sanford, Jeremy Govitz of Coleman,
Jacob Govitz of Coleman, granddaughter Sloane Govitz, brother Michael & Patricia Govitz of Oklahoma, sister Judy Baker of Coleman, several nieces and nephews. Larry was also preceded in death by his brother Dennis Govitz.
Larry cherished spending his time with his family, enjoying his Wives cooking, playing video games with his Son’s and Spoiling his Granddaughter
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday November 2, 2023 at the O’Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc. with Reverend Randy Govitz officiating. Burial will take place in the Warren Township Cemetery, Coleman. A luncheon at the Coleman V.F.W Post #1071 will follow after the burial. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and on Thursday starting at 10 am until the time of services. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund.
