Charles “David” Ellis, 69, of Coleman, died Monday August 19, 2024 at MyMichigan Medical Center, Midland. He was born August 3, 1955 in Montgomery, West Virginia the son of the late Kenneth & Bearniece (Long) Ellis.
Survivors include his sons: Charles David & Juan Ellis-Mendoza of Euharlee GA, Seth Daniel & Gabby Ellis of Rosebush, Levi Joseph & Raiah Ellis of Gladwin, grandchildren: Scarlett, Reed, Stella, siblings: Kenneth Ellis of PA, Hilda Ellis of SC, Sue Buschman of VA, Howard & Solveigh Ellis of FL, Steve & Velda Ellis of OH, Barbara & H.T. Swift of NC, several nieces and nephews. Dave was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law Rodney Buschman and his sister-in-law Roxanne Ellis.
Services will be held 1:00 pm Friday August 23, 2024 at the Grout Township Cemetery, Gladwin. Friends may call at the cemetery on Friday from 12:30 until the time of services.
